”Your Hair, Your Crown”
I often reflect on the words of my Great-grandmother….” Your hair is your glory”…”Your hair is your crown”. In my immaturity I thought that meant don’t cut your hair. However, it wasn’t until my hair started breaking, shedding, losing volume, losing length, looking dull and overall unhealthy that her words truly resonated with me. Your hair is not about length. Your hair is about you- your presence, your confidence, your power.
That realization kick started my hair care journey. After purchasing store bought products, with little results and lots of frustration, I decided to do my research and make my own products. Through trial and error, I found the right mix. My hair started growing, shining, retaining length and multiplying in volume. I shared it with my family and close friends. Yes, their hair had positive results from the use of the products, BUT it was the shift in their confidence and self-esteem that spoke the loudest. They wore their crowns with a bold confidence and empowerment.
